Greetings kindred and fellow sheep. You are my classmates in God’s Classroom. Shall we hearken to and heed the Real Teacher, The Master, Jesus Christ?

Scripture Reading: Matthew 7:6  Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again, and rend you.

What does rend mean? Who or what are the Dogs? Swine?

Is Wisdom the issue here? What action is the wisest to take? Should we hearken to and heed the Master? What is the name of the Book of Wisdom? What constitutes Wisdom?

Proverbs 9:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

Can we have Wisdom without its beginning? Who among our number is called to preach and herald the Wisdom of the God of Israel on the street corner in the midst of an Antifa riot? What is the one thing the Mob understands? The stone cold shiver sweat of Fear! Can that kind of Fear have fellowship with the reverential Awe of our Holy God?

What happens to us if we fail to hearken to and heed the instruction of Matthew 7:6 and Proverbs 9:10? (v 6).

6 Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding.

7 He that reproveth a scorner getteth to himself shame; and he that rebuketh a wicked man getteth himself a blot.

8 Reprove not a scorner, lest he hate thee: rebuke a wise man, and he will love thee.

9 Give instruction to a wise man, and he will be yet wiser: teach a just man and he will increase in learning. Proverbs 9:6-9

Regarding verse 9, shall we give instruction to an unwise man? Shall we teach an unjust man? (v8). Must we reprove a mocker? (v7). Must we rebuke a wicked man? Another translation of “getteth himself a blot” is “harmeth himself.”

Are the media organizing lynch mobs in every neighborhood of America? Do both media and officeholders routinely twist the words of those they hate?

Did our Saviour and Master Jesus Christ, walking the earth in the flesh of Father Abraham, have to deal with the same? Did He use the same wisdom He preached? Did his parables conceal or reveal ? Did Jesus have a public ministry, or a private ministry ?

Should we do the same? Should we follow our Master’s example?

John 13:13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.

This is a private lesson. This is not for the world. This is for the born again. Will we have the Halfway Covenant of Pastor Solomon Stoddard? That held sway just before the 2nd Great Awakening of the 18th Century. At Stoddard’s death his son-in-law Jonathan Edwards ended that from the pulpit. The 2nd Awakening began to flower at the birth of George Washington in 1732.

This lesson is for the Disciples of Jesus the Righteous.

I Corinthians 15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

Job 14:1 Man that is born of woman is of few days, and full of trouble.

Daniel 12:7 And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven and sware by him that liveth forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these things shall be finished.

Acts 17:17 Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rainfrom heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.

2 Peter 1:20 Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation.

2 Corinthians 13 This is the third time I am coming to you. IN THE MOUTH OF TWO OR THREE WITNESSES SHALL EVERY WORD BE ESTABLISHED.

I Corinthians 15:47-48

48 As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.

Genesis 2:7-8

7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

What happened in Genesis chapter 3? Does the Greek New Testament speak of the Fall of Adam in the Garden? (1 Corinthians 15:50). Was the body of Adam flesh and bone and Glory, Genesis chapter 2, corrupted into the image of the earthy, flesh and bone and blood, Genesis chapter 3?

First Corinthians chapter 15:50-53

50 Now this I say brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit incorruption.

51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed.

52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Mark 8:36-37

36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Ecclesiastes 3:18-21

18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them and that they might see that they themselves are beasts.

19 For that which befalleth the sons of Adam befalleth beasts; even one thing befalleth them: as the one dieth so dieth the other; yea they have all one spirit; so that an adam hath no preeminence above a beast; for all is vanity.

20 All go unto one place; all are of the dust, and all turn to dust again.

21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth.

Leviticus 11:2, 46-47

2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which ye shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.

46 This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every soul that moveth in the waters, and of every soul that creepeth upon the earth.

2 For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thyGod, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself, above all nations that are upon the earth.

A Psalm of Asaph.

Genesis 2:18-20

18 And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

20 And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.

Genesis 1:24 And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so.

8 Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee. and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee:

9 Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the LORD hath wrought this.

10 In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind.

12 One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, the Cretians are always liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.

13 This witness is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply that they may be sound in the faith.

First Corinthians 15:32 If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink for tomorrow we die.

James 3:7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:

Acts 28:4-5

4 And when the barbarians saw the venemous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, No doubt this man is a murderer, whom, though he hath escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffereth not to live.
