Glory and Faith and Double Mindedness

Scripture Reading: Matthew 17:20
“And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.”
In the last message I left the question as to us being gods over whom or what and gave as a possibility of us being gods to the trillions of cells in our body.
Strong's gave the definition of god as "being as a magistrate"
Magistrate: A civil officer or lay judge who administers the law, especially one who conducts a court that deals with minor offenses and holds preliminary hearings for more serious ones. So, as a god we can deal with the minor and less serious matters but not the major ones. We need help with the major ones.
This message is like all the messages heard in this gathering, it is hypnotic and meant to plant a seed so when certain events occur, or certain words are said you will remember what was illustrated here.
To make something perfectly clear, if this message offends you in any way I am just the messenger and likewise, if this message brings joy to you in any way, I am just the messenger.
The reading for the day has always baffled me. Faith as a grain of mustard seed. Can anyone in this congregation say that their faith is bigger than a mustard seed We certainly like to think so. Can anyone say that their faith has moved mountains? If we think of a mountain as being a high hill or high rocky terrain, then the answer would be no. What if that mountain was considered to be an incurable disease, sin that we think is unforgivable? What if that mountain was people whom we are trying to awake? Why is it that we know that God is with us but the minute we try to move a mountain, doubt creeps in? Did God make us that way so that we would not be successful ever or is God challenging us to do better?
Notice that there are people who are told that they can't succeed at something and they try harder to get it to prove otherwise and then there are those who are told they can't succeed at something and they cease immediately and don't even bother trying.
Whom do you think God chose to be of His remnant?
In the last message the Holy Spirit got me to explain that what is happening inside the body is also happening outside the body and what is happening outside the body is likely happening inside the body.
“Either how canst thou say to thy brother, Brother, let me pull out the mote that is in thine eye, when thou thyself beholdest not the beam that is in thine own eye?” Luke 6:42
Walt told us that Adam before the fall was flesh and bones and glory. When Adam fell he said that Adam was flesh and bones and blood which he called congealed light. Now, I thought congealed light was special. When I checked, the definition for congealed is to change from a soft or fluid state to a rigid or solid state, as by cooling or freezing. As you can see glory was soft or fluid and that soft and fluid changed to a solid state as blood.

What is a good and clear definition of the word "glory"?
The word, glory, or some form of the word (like glorious or glorify) is found in the King James Bible 538 times. It is one of those important words that is hard to explain. However, I think we can get a good start in understanding this word if we think of it as being used in three different ways. Here they are:
CONCRETE
Something that is concrete is something that is real; something we can see, hear, or touch. In its most basic usage, the word glory refers to brightness as in a bright light. Something's glory may be its brilliance as a shining light or fire. In the book of Exodus, the Israelites were told that they were going to "see the glory of the LORD" (Exodus 16:7) and when they saw it we are told that "the sight of the glory of the LORD was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel" (Exodus 24:17)
The glory of the Lord was like a devouring fire--a fire that could not be put out.
Other verses also show the connection between glory and ideas like light or brightness. Ezekiel 43:2
Says of the Lord: "the earth shined with his glory." Paul gave testimony of his salvation on the road to Damascus when "the glory of that light" (Acts 22:11) caused him to go blind. Paul spoke to the Corinthians about "the light of the glorious gospel of Christ (2Corinthians 4:4) and "the light of the knowledge of the glory of God" (2Corinthians 4:6). In Hebrews 1:3, the Son is called the brightness of the glory of the Father. And finally, in Revelation 21:23, we are told that the New Jerusalem does not need the sun, "for the glory of God did lighten it."
So in the hunt for the key ingredient to getting faith to move mountains, let's start with Matthew 8:5-13:
5 And when Jesus was entered into Capernaum, there came unto him a centurion, beseeching him,
6 And saying, Lord, my servant lieth at home sick of the palsy, grievously tormented.
7 And Jesus saith unto him, I will come and heal him.
(The centurion acting as a god over his servant and asking for help for his servant)
8 The centurion answered and said, Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed.
9 For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it.
10 When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.
11 And I say unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven.
12 But the children of the kingdom shall be cast out into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. (Who are the children of the kingdom mentioned here? Could it be the ones that say they are the children and are not, the ones who are the children and preach otherwise?)
13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as thou hast believed, so be it done unto thee. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
(Examine what the centurion said to Jesus, he was not worthy for Jesus to come under his roof and he could say to his servants to do this and do that and they would do it. This is a clue as to the title of Double Mindedness. In other words the centurion knew that he was unclean by saying he was not worthy and he also knew that Jesus could upon command make him clean and that is why Jesus marveled at the centurion for his faith .The centurion had the faith and knowledge of differentially knowing between that which is carnal and that which is spiritual. Because of this knowledge it was the centurion who initiated the healing of his servant, and by the presence of Jesus to express his knowledge. In this whole event the title to this message is in play. We have the double mindedness the faith and the glory. Note this, the servant to the centurion was not present and more than likely did not know how he got better.
What is faith? This following verse fits perfectly for this message.
Hebrews 11:7 “By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.”
What determines our faith? Our belief system. What determines our belief system? What and by whom we were taught. Pastor Ramsey had in his book that unlearning is more difficult than learning. We have a lot to overcome. Our search for truth will overcome all that is false and searching for the truth is faith.
Definition of glory in the abstract
That which is abstract is not something we can touch or see. Ideas like truth, love, and justice are abstract. The abstract meaning of glory is that form of excellence which naturally brings admiration and praise. Just as a bright light gets our attention and causes us to look upon it, so the glory of something is that which draws our attention and causes us to be amazed. To say that something is glorious is to say that it is just about (or absolutely) as wonderful and perfect as it could be. That which has glory does not need to seek praise--all who understand its glory will naturally sing its praises. So many verses use glory in this way to refer to God that we must limit our examples. One good place to look is at the Song of Moses that he wrote immediately after the Israelites crossed the Red Sea and the Egyptians were drowned in the same sea. In this song, we see that the Lord is "glorious in power" (Exodus 15:6), "glorious in holiness" (Exodus 15:11) and that He has "triumphed gloriously" (Exodus 15:26). God's glory is His excellence that deserves to be praised. It is His brilliance over all others. It is His greatness of power which demands our fear and honor. It is His beauty by which He is adorned. It is His strength and honor; HIS excellence and grace. God's glory is wrapped up in all those qualities that demand our praise.
Double mindedness, we accrued this at the fall of Adam.
James 1:8 “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways. “(We are only unstable when we do not differentiate between the carnal and spiritual.)
James 4:8 “Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”
Romans 8:6 “For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.”
Philippians 3:15 “Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in anything ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.” (For example, when at work or play we are generally otherwise minded and even then God will be with us.)
They say that in AA (Alcoholics Anonymous) that the road to recovery is for the participants to admit that they are an alcoholic. By admitting that they are an alcoholic brings in help from outside sources. With that being said, God told us.
Ezekiel 18:30 “Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith the Lord GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions; so iniquity shall not be your ruin.”
Luke 15:7 “I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.”
Luke 15:10 “Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.”
Could the road to recovery be admitting that we are double minded? We cannot change that, we inherited it. Just as an alcoholic struggles by being around alcohol so we too struggle being in the midst of evil. Being aware of our inheritance can help us to overcome our weaknesses. Isn't that what the centurion demonstrated?
If we were to investigate Elijah, Elisha, all the prophets and apostles we would see that they had glory or light of God when they healed others. Now we all know that we need God's light or Glory to heal those we pray for. God is willing to heal but in order for that to come about we have to meet God halfway.
I brought this illustration in to show you what is happening within us when confronted with situations.
When Pastor Ramsey was here, he mentioned that the 5 senses that we have come about at the fall of Adam. Those 5 senses along with everything else in this world comes with blessings and curses.
Jesus told us that we can do all that He did. Well in order to do that we have to brighten our light.
Exodus 34:35 And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone: and Moses put the vail upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.
I found this written by Charles Spurgeon in 1890:
3. It would appear, as far as we can understand the narrative, that his face continued to shine long afterwards. After Moses had come down from the mount the brightness began to diminish. Paul tells us that it was a “glory to be done away”; but when he went into the holy place to commune with God the brightness was revived, and he came out again and spoke to the people with that same glowing heaven upon his brow. When he addressed the people in the name of God, he took off the veil, and let them see the brightness of God in his ambassador; but as soon as he had finished speaking, and fell back into his own private character, he drew a veil over his face so that no one might be kept at a distance by it. The man Moses was as meek with the glory on his countenance as before it gathered there. God put great honour upon him, but he did not desire to make a display of that honour, nor childishly wish that it should be seen by men. For the people’s sakes and for typical purposes, he veiled his face while in ordinary conversation with the people, and only unveiled it when he spoke in the name of the Lord. Brethren, if God honours you as preachers or teachers, accept the honour, but do not attribute it to your own worthiness, or even to your own personality; but ascribe it to the office to which the Lord has called you. “I magnify my office,” said Paul; but you never find Paul magnifying himself. He wears the glory as an ambassador of God, not as a private individual. The dignity that God gives to his servants is bestowed upon their office, not upon themselves apart from it. They must never run away with it into daily life, and think that they themselves are “reverend,” because their Lord is so; nor may they claim for their own thoughts the serious attention which they rightly demand for the Word of the Lord. Ministers do not pretend to be a class of sacred beings, like the Brahmins of India: the only vantage-ground they occupy is, that the Lord speaks through them according to the gift of his Holy Spirit. Unveiled are our faces when we speak to God and for God; but among our brethren we would hide away anything from which we might claim superiority for ourselves.
Did not Moses recognize that he was both carnal and spiritual?
When we look at the behavior of Judah's kings.
David had his moments of obeying and disobeying. (Signs of carnal and spiritual.)
Solomon started out well and ended badly.
Rehoboam did evil in the sight of the Lord and did not seek the Lord.
Abijah and Asa did right in the sight of the Lord. There is hope when the son and grandson do better than the father, grandfather. Yet later on Asa ended badly.
Next was Jehosaphat and the Lord was with him.
On and on it goes where it seems that the sons did differently than the fathers. The ones who did evil followed those of other nations who also did evil.
The point to all of this is that we all have our ups and downs. What influenced the sons to do differently than the fathers? What influences us to do that which is right one moment and then in another moment we do that which is wrong. I know, because we are double minded.
What happens to us when we eat unclean food?
What happens to us when we eat clean foods?
The enemy is poisoning our clean foods. Check labels even on organic foods, most put this poison canola oil in them. Wheat is harvested with Roundup and extra gluten is being put in the baking of breads and, as such, causing many problems in the intestines. This is just a few examples.
What happens when we are confronted constantly with bad news?
What happens when we hear some truth? (that can go both ways)
What happens when little children or grandchildren come up and hug you for no reason at all?
What happens when we breathe polluted air?
What happens when we breathe fresh air?
What happens when someone tells us that certain kindred people come down ill or have had an accident?
What is our first reaction, just like the one that I got from you at the beginning of this message.
We are attacked constantly and most of the time how we react is how we were taught or not taught in the neutering stations (churches, schools, news outlets etc.)
There are blessings and curses with everything. For instance, when we are told that someone dear to us is struggling or sick what if we took the opposite reaction of remorse and say Hallelujah. The person that told you the news would go into shock. So what if they do they only want you to feel as bad as they do by telling you. Misery loves company. What was your reaction at first when Jesus called on one to be a disciple and he told Jesus that he had to bury his father? Jesus told him to let the dead bury the dead. If the one ill were to die would not Hallelujah be appropriate for, they would not have to live being double minded anymore. What if you said Hallelujah, we are going to witness a healing or say we at church will pray for them but you have to tell us when they get better, the exact time and date. Now do not these reactions show more faith? pause what reaction is suitable for this case of this woman?
Once again Hebrews 11:7: “By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.”
For you see we must see the healing, feel the healing and profess the healing before it comes. We don't get that from "Oh I am so sorry to hear that"
Job just lost his children, livestock and servants.
2 And Job spake, and said,
3 Let the day perish wherein I was born, and the night in which it was said, There is a man child conceived.
4 Let that day be darkness; let not God regard it from above, neither let the light shine upon it.
5 Let darkness and the shadow of death stain it; let a cloud dwell upon it; let the blackness of the day terrify it.
Job 3, read all of this chapter.
6 As for that night, let darkness seize upon it; let it not be joined unto the days of the year, let it not come into the number of the months.
7 Lo, let that night be solitary, let no joyful voice come therein.
8 Let them curse it that curse the day, who are ready to raise up their mourning.
9 Let the stars of the twilight thereof be dark; let it look for light, but have none; neither let it see the dawning of the day:
10 Because it shut not up the doors of my mother's womb, nor hid sorrow from mine eyes.
11 Why died I not from the womb? why did I not give up the ghost when I came out of the belly?
12 Why did the knees prevent me? or why the breasts that I should suck?
13 For now should I have lain still and been quiet, I should have slept: then had I been at rest,
Job did not curse God upon all that he lost instead he cursed the days upon which the righteous are lost. His 3 friends were sure he had done something wrong to lose all that he did. Job was adamant and argued with God knowing that he had done no wrong. Moses argued with God. Isn't arguing with God a sign that you have faith? If we don't get a healing then we should demand one from God. Is that too not proof of faith?
Pause Job's remarks
(A Psalm of David.) “Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.” Psalm 29:1
As elders of a church who puts hands on do we want the light that the Holy Spirit has graced us with to be dim or bright? If it were to be dim how many elders would it take to get a healing 100, 1000? When a light is dim that means there is resistance. Imagine that this line here represented the elders of a church, depending on the church depends on the brightness of the light. As an elder do you want your light to be dim or bright? Notice that if a healing comes about by dimness then that healing is short lived. When Jesus healed the cripples or blind did that healing last for a short time or for the rest of their days?
The action definition of glory.
This brings us to the third use of the word, glory--its use as an action verb. We are to glory in God. This means that we are to express our admiration and praise for the excellency that we see. Although men seek and receive glory, we are told to "let no man glory in men" (1Corinthians 3:21). We may honor men--an action that is similar to glory but of a milder form, but we are not to glory in men. Our glory is to be given to God. Psalm 29:2 tells us, "Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness." Psalm 105:3 tells us, "Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD." May we learn to give the Lord glory all the days of our life.
Then David the king stood up upon his feet, and said, Hear me, my brethren, and my people: As for me, I had in mine heart to build an house of rest for the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and for the footstool of our God, and had made ready for the building:
3 But God said unto me, Thou shalt not build an house for my name, because thou hast been a man of war, and hast shed blood. 1 Chronicles 28:2.
Solomon speaking "But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded? "1 Kings 8:27 (Solomon knew he could not contain the Lord and yet he built the temple. We know that we can't contain the Lord so does that mean we need not try?
In the Old Testament it was important for the building of the temple for a place for God to reside with His children! Kings Ezra, and Nehemiah.
In the New Testament: “No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.” 1 John 4:12.
Lawrence Blanchard provided this in Book 3 lesson11
19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. Ephesians 2
That we are fit together and built together for the habitation of God through the Spirit then surely we have to believe that God will heal us when we call on Him.
It seems obvious that we cannot change what is going on outside of our bodies, but we can change what is going on inside our bodies and why wouldn't we for His Spirit is within us. When we turn up the light and heal those who are sick then the change will take place outside.
Who hasn't ever asked in prayer why God do you make the righteous sick?
Could it be that He is begging us to seek faith.
There is more to the Word of God than just knowing who we are, we have to be doers.
Matthew 25:20-25
20 “And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.
21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.
23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.
24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew thee that thou art an hard man, reaping where thou hast not sown, and gathering where thou hast not
25 And I was afraid, and went and hid thy talent in the earth: lo, there thou hast that is thine.
“Then said his wife unto him, Dost thou still retain thine integrity? curse God, and die. But he said unto her, Thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil? In all this Job did not sin with his lips.” Job 2: 9-10.
“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2.
One of the hardest things to do is to have joy when you are in pain and joints ache and hurt and you are deathly sick. When this occurs, praise God, for He is testing you and He tests those whom He loves. Glory is light, energy is light, blood is light, even though it is fallen light it is still light and it has the possibilities of getting brighter.
Cain's sacrifice did not include blood and his sacrifice was not good enough for God, therefore Cain's sacrifice had no light.
The human body consists of five layers of energy. The first layer is the physical body, which has weight, shape, and volume. You can touch it, see it, and contemplate its reflection in the mirror. But there are four other energy fields surrounding the physical body that are not so easily seen and which are commonly referred to collectively as a person's aura. Together, these five layers, or energy bodies, comprise the human energy field. These layers are where our mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional characteristics are stored. They can be in balance or out of balance. Which is why energy medicine practitioners believe that it's not enough to just treat the physical body when people fall sick. The other four layers must be evaluated and treated as well. The 2nd is the etheric energy body and has also been referred to as the blueprint or holograph of the physical body. The emotional layer of our energy body is the third layer. Centrally located among the five layers, this layer is where our feelings and fears reside. This layer can be quite volatile when we are experiencing extreme high or low emotions. The 4th is mental energy. This is the layer from which our ideas spring. Our belief systems are also stored here. This is where our thoughts are assimilated and sorted out, and it is where we house our personal truths, or, rather, our perceptions based on our experiences. The 5th is the spiritual energy and it lies the deepest in the body. It is the place where our "consciousness" or "higher awareness" resides.
Imagine being in a body of water and we are in the 4th level, the mental energy, and it leads us to the thought of healing someone very sick or injured. We just passed through the emotional level which induces fear. What are we going to do swim back to the surface or swim to the spiritual level to get help? Pause Energy healer says:
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field." Matthew 13:44
What good is having treasure if you don't spend it? What good does it do to just look at it?
We are weak and not worthy but we have been given the promise of His dwelling within us and it is our duty to cleanse ourselves and overcome our weaknesses and our unworthiness.
If we are the elect then what we need to do is get past the emotional field, that field that causes doubt, and get into the spiritual field.
I came across a little pamphlet where a preacher from Illinois had written Have you accepted Jesus as your personal Savior. There was a number on it and I called and asked him where in the bible does it say that we are to accept Jesus as our personal Savior. He did not answer, so I told him as a preacher you should be more concerned on whether Jesus has accepted you to be one of His elect and trying to usher in the Kingdom of Heaven, for if you do not then what makes you think that God is going to even let you in the Kingdom. Silence all I got was silence.
I have always hated losing and I hate losing this nation to mongrels, bastards, 3rd world aliens and treasonous kindred people. When Jesus walked the earth crowds gathered. They were looking for healing and miraculous events to happen before their eyes. I truly believe that healing people will awaken people. The one thing that people seemed concerned about is their health, for what can be accomplished from an unhealthy body. We can no longer use the words of "it is God's will" when it refers to healing one of our own. Is it God's will that we suffer after we have repented? True we still have to take our punishment. Is our punishment to learn and have the inability to help others? If we fail in our quest to find faith let us not get discouraged or fear of being made fun of, or fear of not healing those in need. In Job 28:28 “And to the man He said Behold the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding."
Does this mean that when we put hands on or pray for those in need and they are not healed that the fear that comes upon us is that the Lord is not with us God forbid for that is showing a lack of faith. We need to jump right back up on the horse and try and try and try until we find it. For healings or prayers to work there has to be acknowledgement of unworthiness, there has to be faith, there has to be all glory given to God. there can be no doubt, there can be no glory to self. We have a lot to overcome and the difference between us and the universalists is that we have the ingredients to make it happen.
We are a blessed and cursed people, praise the curses as well as the blessings and we will be giving glory to God.
So when we pray remove the veil, remove the doubt and let our light shine.
When you doubt your power, you give power to your doubt. --Honore de Balzac
Certain thoughts are prayers. There are moments when, whatever be the attitude of the body, the soul is on its knees.” ― Victor Hugo

James chapter 5
13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.
14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:
15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Compare this passage with the one earlier of Matthew 25 on the talents given to the servants.
The mustard seed and why it was used in the parable.
With the help of modern electronic techniques, scientists have found that the seeds have incredible power and that’s the reason they have been used as medicines since thousands of years. According to research, a small seed, only 1 millimeter in radius, generates a bioenergy field of 100-millimeter radius! These energy fields activate biochemical processes of the body and encourage healing processes. Because of the mustard’s seed bioenergy, just like the human energy field, the seeds help to keep us healthy and fit!
Three body parts necessary for healing: speech, hands, and eyes.
