The Wake-up Herald

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof. Romans 13:11-14

GALLUP  SHOCK: Gosnell Trial "One of the Least Followed News Stories in Poll History ... Just 7% following Gosnell abortion trial 'very closely'

The public is ignoring the sensational Philadelphia murder trial of abortionist Kermit Gosnell, despite increased coverage by the mainstream media prompted by criticism from conservative groups, making it one of the least followed stories in Gallup poll history.

What's more, even among those closely following the trial and extended jury deliberations which could conclude today, just 46 percent want more coverage while 47 percent believe the media is providing enough or too much coverage.

The Gallup poll of 1,535 conducted over five days is likely to come as a shock to conservatives who succeeded in pushing the media into covering the trial more. Gallup found that just 7 percent of the public is following the case "very closely" and 54 percent "not at all."

And even when Gallup combined those watching the case "very closely" with the 18 percent following it "somewhat closely," for a total of 25 percent, "that is well below the 61 percent average level of attention Americans have paid to the more than 200 news stories Gallup has measured since 1991."

The agency added: "This makes the Gosnell case one of the least followed news stories Gallup has measured."

Overall, the poll found that the public hasn't changed its view of making abortion available. As in the past, 26 percent favor legalized abortion under any circumstances, 13 percent favor legality under most circumstances, 38 percent favor it in only in a few circumstances, and 20 percent said it should be banned.

But Gallup, in analyzing the findings, said it couldn't determine if the public's attitude was due to the lack of media coverage of the trial or because it has really had no impact on their views of abortion.

Even among the 784 closely watching the case, 46 percent said the coverage was lacking. But 47 percent said the media was providing the "right amount" or "too much" coverage of the Gosnell trial.

Editor's comment: The reason the Gosnell trial is the least followed news story in Poll history is because mainstream Media has ignored the trial and most people know little or nothing about Gosnell’s ‘House of Horrors’ where he and his subordinates murdered babies for two decades; a few recent media reports have been given with reserved details.

Poll: 55 Percent of Americans Don't Know Planned Parenthood Does Abortions

Half of Americans don't know Planned Parenthood does abortions -- let alone that it is the biggest abortion business in the United States, according to a new Polling Company survey conducted for the National Right to Life Committee, LifeNews.com reports. The poll found that 88 percent of registered voters are familiar with Planned Parenthood, 40 percent know someone who has received services at Planned Parenthood, and 63 percent have a favorable impression of the organization. However, the same poll found that 55 percent did not know Planned Parenthood performs abortions. Fifty percent of pro-life respondents did not know Planned Parenthood performs abortions, and of the 45 percent who knew, the majority greatly underestimated the number of abortions Planned Parenthood performs annually. In 2011, the last year for which data is available, Planned Parenthood performed 333,964 abortions, or just over 27 percent of all abortions in the United States. "The polling reflects the results of Planned Parenthood's campaign to publicly minimize and obfuscate is involvement with abortion," said David N. O'Steen, National Right to Life executive director.

Planned Parenthood is a Deceptive $1.5 Billion Business

Planned Parenthood is a business. They promote sexual promiscuity through advertisements and sex education curriculum to create a customer at a young age, which ensures financial stability and growth down the line. As sexual activity among the young rises, they will need the services of Planned Parenthood even more – from STD testing and eventually abortion. Abortion is big business, especially at Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion provider. Abortion, which costs $450/abortion (for first trimester abortion), makes up about half of Planned Parenthood’s revenue. As of 2013, every Planned Parenthood affiliate is required to provide abortions and is given a required quota to fulfill.

Because it is a business, Planned Parenthood is very much focused on the bottom line. Implementing minimum health and safety standards is not always a priority because compliance can be costly. Across the nation, Planned Parenthood affiliates have been cited for various health and safety violations. Additionally, there is evidence that Planned Parenthood, which received $542 million from the federal government last year, has manipulated its records, increasing government reimbursements.

The truth about Planned Parenthood isn’t pretty – in fact, it’s pretty ugly. They prey on the circumstances of vulnerable women and children to make a profit. It’s time that Planned Parenthood is exposed for what they really are. Please visit www.ItsPrettyUgly.com to learn more and share the truth with others.
