Prayer and Review of Great Britain's Chaos

Prayer

Heavenly Father, Our King and Redeemer, The Great I Am.
Our Creator, God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and their descendants,
There is no other god but You and this prayer is to You and You only.
We at this congregation praise You for what You have done for us and given us.

There was a time we didn't love You the way that we should have.
And we didn't praise You quite as often as we should have.
We made You second best.  Lord God we were blind.
If only You were always on our mind.

We never thanked you when we were happy.
We just never took the time because we were blind.
The things we should have said and done we did not do.
Instead we've done the things we shouldn’t have done.
If only You were always on our mind.

We called for You when we found ourselves in terrible times.
We cried to You to tell us that Your sweet love hasn't died.
And to give us one more chance to keep You satisfied.
You answered our cry and now we find that You are always on our mind.
We ask if it is possible in these fallen bodies to always keep You on our mind.

Praise be to You Heavenly Father for You are always on our mind.

REVIEW OF PASTOR DON’S RECENT SERMONS

The time period of the Stuart’s was a fascinating time in history.  The one hundred years before the beginning of the Stuarts reign, was the great battle that forged against the Catholic Church—the Reformation.

The creation of the printing press was one of the major life-changing inventions.  For after this invention, the Bible was available for practically every Israelite to buy, read and understand in his own language.

The Catholic Church, one of the four major players in the world, was against the printing press publishing the Bible.  They fought against the translation into English.  But they failed.

The German, Martin Luther, was one of the reformers who was supported by the second of the major players, the Jews.  They helped finance his attack on the Roman Church.  But Luther was given a Talmud, one of the major Jewish “unholy” books, late in his life and he read it.  He was horrified.  He wrote his book that said the Christian nations should expel all Jews from their lands.  His book called for more atrocities against the murderers of our savior that Hitler ever accomplished.

So, the Jews couldn’t support Martin Luther anymore.  Luther was against usury that the Jews were the main participates in, so they began their support of the French leader of the Reformation—John Calvin.  Calvin was for usury.  Calvin was not against the Jews.
