Covenantkeepers - Part 4

“Neither were they stedfast in his covenant”

By Walter Giddings

Featured Text: Psalms 78:32-39

Reading Psalm 78:10-11:  How well has Israel, in History, performed as Covenantkeepers?  “They kept not the covenant of God”!!  Did we hear what we read?  Does that sound good?!!  The Reading of The Word of God, in unison, or responsively, is always a good exercise in Unity.  There was nothing wrong with our reading.  It is the Words.  The Words are bad news in Israel and to Israel

Neither Side is Godly

I read a comment on Jim’s post that was made by Chuck Miller. It said, ‘we now have the papacy and a Hindu.” I did a little bit of investigation of this is what I came up with.

Discussion of the background of the 2024 presidential candidates and their running mates.

Who Was Cain?

by Pastor Don Elmore

July 2024

In the America’s Promise Ministries Newsletter, July/August 2024, they published an article by Earl Linville of Oklahoma entitled, “Who Was Cain?” This violated what I had said about preaching about this doctrine. If they would quit harping about their belief that Adam was the father of Cain, then I would stop preaching that it was Satan who was the father of Cain. But America’s Promise Ministries presented another article about this topic, so there needs to be an article that presents the other side.

Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 4:1:

“Now therefore hearken, O Israel, unto the statutes and unto the judgments, which I teach you, for to do them, that ye may live, and go in and possess the land which the LORD God of your fathers giveth you.”

Who is talking and who is he talking to?  Moses is about to die, and he is giving his final instructions to God’s covenant people--Israel.  Moses was in the valley over against Beth-peor, near Mt. Pisgah.

Israel had been freed from being slaves in Egypt but had wandered around the Promised Land for about 40 yearsdue to their sin of not believing what their LORD had told them.  Moses was 120 years old and was about to die.  He tells God’s people to hearken or pay attention to the statutes and judgmentswhich he was teaching them.

Baptism in Context

Rev. Jim Jester

SCRIPTURE READING: Ezekiel 36:22-25

INTRODUCTION

I have spoken on this topic about two years ago. But recently, someone asked me about Baptism, so this sermon is the result of that. Keep in mind that I am not trying to make enemies here, so I am not picking on my Baptist friends. I simply want to give the topic some balance, since in my lifetime I have seen lots of imbalance on the subject. And, I want you to see how different a subject can actually be when considered in the light of its full Scriptural context (not just part of the Word).

Thomas Massie Said What?

Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, one of the few Republicans who has been openly critical of AIPAC, has said that every Republican in Congress has an AIPAC babysitter. The congressman spoke with former Fox News host Tucker Carlson for an episode of his podcast earlier this month, when he made the statement about the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, which has been coming under increasing scrutiny for its influence over United States elections.

Is Genocide the Final Solution?

By Pastor Dan Gayman

According to pop culture and everything we read and hear today, everyone is born a racist. Racism has been systemic in America since our beginning. Columbus and the Pilgrims were White, as were the Puritans and even the successive waves of immigrants from Europe and Scandinavia. Each of these White ethnic groups brought with them their White superiority, or a least so says the new wave of Communists grasping for power in the Untied States today.

The Far Left in the United States insists that systemic racism can be remedied only by removing our “Whiteness.” America has been racist since its origins and is embedded in every aspect of our culture and in every institution. Racism, they say, is even engrained into our DNA. Consequently, Whites can fit into the new America (born this past January, 2021) by pledging to give entirely their Whiteness. What in the world does this entail?

Gideon's Son

Scripture Reading: Judges 8:34

God told Gideon to send home 22,000 men from his army of 32,000 (Judges 7:1-3). And if reducing Gideon's army by two-thirds was not enough, our King then reduced the army further. He took it down to 300 men. From 32,000 to 300!  That is more than a 99% decrease!

The rest of Judges, chapter seven, details how Gideon’s army defeated the Midianites. First, Gideon received confirmation that Israel would be victorious. Then, his 300 soldiers went up against Midian with torches and empty jars, not with ordinary weapons. They broke the jars and held aloft the torches when Gideon blew the trumpet, creating such a confusion that the Midianites fought against one another. God delivered Midian into the hands of Israel, yet Israel won not because of its superior battle prowess but because the LORD made the Midianites use their swords against their own comrades—they killed themselves. Salvation of Israel from its enemies is of the LORD alone.

Covenantkeepers - Part 3

“if ye will … keep my covenant”

By Walter Giddings

June 23, 2024

Featured Scripture: Exodus 19:5

[1] Are we the seed of Abraham?

[2] Are we the children of the miracle Child Isaac, Isaac’s sons, Saxons?

[3] Are we the living descendants of both Houses, the House of Judah and the House of Israel

[4] Were we dispersed among all nations, becoming the greatest migrators on the globe, migrating through the Caucasus Mountains, becoming the Caucasian Racemuch more in number than the vagabond sons of Cain, “who was of that wicked One”? [1 John 3:12]

[5] Are we, therefore, The Covenant People of God?

The Title of our Lesson shows the subject matter is not the genealogies of The Bible, nor our inheritance from them. This is our 3rd Lesson, Covenantkeepers which is clearly based on our 5 conclusions. We are aware of this mystery: “that blindness in part is happened to Israel”! [Romans 11:25]

Should We Vote? - Part 2

In the first message we went through all the kings of Israel and Judah and none of them performed as king to the requirements that God had laid out to Moses. This message looks at the one king who performed according to the requirements that God had laid out to Moses. That King of course is Jesus the Christ.
