Sandy Hook's Familiar Spirits

Scripture Reading: Deuteronomy 14:1-3 “Ye are the children of the LORD your God: ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.  For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a peculiar people unto himself; above all the nations that are upon the earth.  Thou shalt not eat any abominable thing.”

The rest of the chapter tells the Israelites what they are to eat and what they are forbidden to eat. Why are they to do this? Because they are a holy people unto the LORD! If you eat any of the foods that are an abomination to the LORD is because you do not want to be a holy people.

So, what we eat is to be found in the Bible. Where do we find all the other answers for our life? Do we go to Dr. Phil, or Dr. Laura, or Oprah, or do we write to someone like Dear Abby, or go to any psychologist, or to any psychiatrist. Do we go to someone who can read our palms or read the stars or do we read our horoscopes. When I was young, in my pre-teens and early teenage years, I would read my horoscope everyday that was in the newspaper and try and see how true they were. I didn’t know it was against God’s laws.

There are forces of evil: which includes politicians, business leaders, sport players, musicians, preachers, educators, etc.

And there are forces of good: God the father, His Son, and the Holy Spirit, and the people whom He leads, etc.

Where do we find the answers to questions that we have about our life? They are all found in the Bible.

How Moral Imbeciles Choose Judges

The Wake-up Herald

And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfill the lusts thereof. Romans 13:11-14

Win for Religious Rights of Prisoners

By Kurtis Monschke, P.P. CIS

After 30 years of diligently fighting the Federal Bureau of Prisons for religious recognition of Christian Identity and accommodation, we have finally made some progress.

As most of you know, recognition and accommodation has been challenged in courts of many different states and nearly all Federal circuits, many lost but many won as well, famous cases being Cutter v. Wilkenson and Gerhardt V. Lazaroff.  Part of the problem has been that though Cutter was a victory, the “Religious Land Use of Institutionalized Person Act (RLUIPA) applies to Fed. Funding that state prisons receive.  Not Federal Prisons.  Strange, huh?

Strange Happenings

Scripture Reading:  Matthew 3:7-12

During the past couple of weeks, we have had the Super Bowl, the Grammy Awards; Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras, Valentine’s Day, Ash Wednesday, Lent, an exploding meteorite over Russia, the ceremony for the six murdered(?) adults at Sandy Hook at the White House and, for the first time since the Middle Ages, the Pope has resigned at the end of this month--February.

And we also had the ex-LAPD officer and Obama supporter who got kicked out of the loop and went on a murder spree of officers and their families.  He was torched in a cabin, just like they did to the Branch Davidians.  But they found his driver’s license and a couple of other papers in the ashes of the fire.    Umh!

The emblem for the 46th Grammy Awards was an upside down five star – Bahomphet.  In addition, three of its stars also sang at the Inauguration and the Super Bowl.

Jennifer Hudson, who sang with the New Town Elementary School Choir, America the Beautiful, replaced Whitney Houston in the illuminati influenced music world.

Alicia Keys praises Satan as her lord and master who has given her success in the evil music industry of today.  She has given up her soul over to him in exchange for her hit songs.  She sings that she sold her soul to the devil.  She sang the “Star Spangled Banner” at the Super Bowl.

The Ungodliness of Being a Coward

by Pastor Mark Downey

February 10, 2012

Scripture Reading: Numbers 13:30-33

Let me begin by recollecting a scene from the movie, "Patton", in which George C. Scott reenacts the encounter General Patton has with a soldier at a field hospital. The General is honoring his wounded men until he comes to this one guy shaking like a leaf and he asks a nurse, "What's wrong with the man?"  She said something like, "Oh, sir, he's suffering from the emotional stress of the battlefield."  At that point, Patton takes off his gloves and starts smacking the soldier in the face, calling him a coward; telling him there's nothing wrong with him and running him out of that hospital where other soldiers were bleeding, bandaged and dying on their deathbeds.

Do you think Patton understood the implications of cowardice among his troops if gone unchecked?  For one thing, you're not going to win a war, if your men lose the will to fight.  By the same token, do you think our God understands the ramifications of a coward in and among His people, Israel?  When the Lord declares in Jeremiah 51:20 that our race is His battle axe and weapons of war, the thought of a coward doesn't even enter the picture.  In fact, the word coward is not even in the Bible, although, as we'll see, there are cases of cowardice.  God's Word is more focused on the godliness of victory and the means in which to achieve it than having a preoccupation with defeat.  The enemy works very hard to instill a mindset of doom and futility, which leads to our surrender to the world.
