Is Martin Luther King Day Christian?
By Jim Jester
The national holiday honoring the civil rights activist, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. (not the name at his birth), is a national disgrace. It is the only holiday that bears the name of a man who had nothing to do with the founding of America. This alone could qualify it as a racist holiday. Most Americans will respond that we have Washington’s and Lincoln’s birthdays honored. But the fact is, these names have been dropped from the calendar in lieu of the generic “Presidents Day.” Those not born in America or immigrants coming in could rightly ask, “Which presidents?” Dead presidents, living presidents, presidents of debating societies? To be fair and equal, MLK Day should actually be called Civil Rights Day. Instead, the Negro, Mr. King, is honored simply because of his race, not because of his character. This is hypocritical, because I recall that he spoke about a person being judged by his character, not by the color of his skin. American’s should ask, is this holiday a Christian observance worthy of honor and was Mr. King a Christian?
It is said that the young boy, King, was rejected by a White child, and consequently, MLK decided to, “Hate every White person.” During his years of the so-called non-violent political activism, he was starting the fires of black hate that fueled race riots in major cities across America. Because of the violence, many weak-kneed politicians voted for the Civil Rights Act of 1964 in order to appease the rioters whom MLK inspired. This, of course, lead to another government paid holiday at the taxpayer’s expense: $212 million to the federal government; $579 million to state and local governments; and a whopping $3.8 billion to the private sector! White Americans should be asking themselves, “What was so great about this Negro and can we afford such a holiday?” MLK was not an elected official of our government and former presidents have been pushed aside into a no name holiday. This is an insult to our spirits as well. If White Christian America were to demand a White history month, we would be labeled racist and hater.
Really, assuming that MLK day is honoring “civil rights” rather than just the man, do we even need such a holiday? Just because Negroes can now be served like everyone else or not be pushed to the back of a bus, is that a reason to come up with a special day? No. We do not need a Civil Rights Day because civil rights come from the government, and anything the government can grant, it can take away. If I were treated unfairly by a group of people (and most of us are treated terribly by our government) I would just avoid that group, not clamor for my rights. Americans should stand for the Rights that come from God, not government. MLK day is simply a special day we cannot afford, financially or spiritually.
Social Justice
Now a little about what MLK believed and had to say. The following is a quote from Time Magazine, January 3, 1964 – King was Time magazine’s 1963, “Man of the Year.” He said, “I had doubts that religion was intellectually respectable.” At Atlanta’s Morehouse College, King searched for some “intellectual basis for a social philosophy.” After he read Thoreau's essay, “Civil Disobedience,” he then “decided that the ministry could be best used for social protest.” (Congressional Record, March 25, 1968, p. E 2200, Inserted by Rep. John R. Rarick, D., Louisiana)
At Crozier Theological Seminary in Chester, Pa., King built the underpinnings of his philosophy. Hegel and Kant impressed him, but a lecture on Gandhi transported him, sent him foraging insatiably into Gandhi's books. “From my background,” he says, “I gained my regulating Christian ideals. From Gandhi I learned my operational technique.” Did King repent and change before he died? The following was spoken the night before he died. The speech is entitled, “I See the Promised Land” and was delivered April 3, 1968 in Memphis, Tennessee. He had not abandoned his heretical notions:
“As you know, if I were standing at the beginning of time, with the possibility of general and panoramic view of the whole human history up to now, and the Almighty said to me, ‘Martin Luther King, which age would you like to live in?’-- I would take my mental flight by Egypt through, or rather across the Red Sea, through the wilderness on toward the Promised Land. And, in spite of its magnificence, I wouldn't stop there. I WOULD MOVE ON BY GREECE, AND TAKE MY MIND TO MOUNT OLYMPUS. AND I WOULD SEE PLATO, ARISTOTLE, SOCRATES, EURIPIDES AND ARISTOPHANES ASSEMBLED AROUND THE PARTHENON AS THEY DISCUSSED THE GREAT AND ETERNAL ISSUES OF REALITY.” [emphasis added]
This is in line with his other speeches, where King puts humanistic “Christianity” in the same category as everything else. He used Christianity as a springboard for his social gospel. The “promised land” for King was not heaven, it was social equality!
Race Mixing
King said, “I have a dream that little Black boys and Black girls will be able to join hands with little White boys and White girls and walk together as sisters and brothers.” He was interviewed by the N.Y. Post in 1958 and said, “I’m sure that integration will lead to intermarriage.” This is part of the jew/communist plan to weaken and eventually destroy White Christian America. Race mixing (miscegenation) is the non-violent form of genocide. It is also reported that King’s favorite sexual encounters were with White women.
The Zoroastrian principle of tolerance, also employed in Hinduism, is called dharma, and means the toleration of other races and gods. Dharma teaches tolerance of things that God’s Law does not tolerate, like race mixing. Very clearly, interracial marriage is a form of warfare to destroy our race. Did you know that India’s gods are black and its devils are white? Have you ever heard blacks talk about the “white devil?” Did you know that White people are called “white devils” in most non-White countries of the world? Did you know that jewish, catholic and judeo-Christian controlled governments all demand the same thing of their people? To let the mamzer (mongrel, stranger, or mixed race) enter the congregation. In America, we call it de-segregation; and in order to help mongrelize the Christian West our enemies have codified laws against discrimination.
Political Activism
MLK learned dharma from Gandhi, another pioneer of non-violent civil disobedience, which is a euphemism for the heathen rioting and looting in the name of freedom. MLK is quoted as saying, “Negroes will be mentally healthier if they do not suppress their rage.”
“MLK was a subversive in life and an idol in death. The black holy day is idolatry. MLK never dreamed of an army of baggy pant gang-bangers extolling the lowest form of music in the world called ‘rap.’ MLK never dreamed of his people shrinking from their anti-war street activism to nothing. MLK never dreamed so much money would be spent on his martyrdom by those who made him a demagogue. MLK never dreamed of so many streets named after him. MLK never dreamed of non-White welfare queens having it so good - a paradise of entitlements. MLK never dreamed his own family would commercialize and milk his name like a cash cow. MLK never dreamed he would be exposed as the rapist and sexual deviant that he was; it is just a matter of time before the FBI files are unsealed and confirms what we already know. MLK never dreamed of a land flowing with so many hypocritical clones and charlatans of himself.” –Rev. Mark Downey
Everyone has heard the Rosa Parks story. The NEA teachers have seen to it that every child in the public fool system knows their version of the story. It goes something like this: a poor, tired, Black seamstress took a seat in the front of a Montgomery, Alabama bus on December 1, 1955. The driver asked her to move to the back under the state’s segregation law. For refusing, Parks was arrested. Four days later Martin Luther King arrived in town and launched the Montgomery Bus Boycott. After 381 days, the Supreme Court ordered the city buses integrated.
However, the true Parks story is a little different. Rosa Parks was secretary of the local NAACP. The book, Speak Now, a left-wing history of the civil rights movement, states that in August of 1955, four months before the bus incident, Parks attended the Highlander Folk School in Mount Eagle, Tennessee. The “school” was started in 1932 by Myles Horton and James Dombrowski, both of them members of the Communist Party. Speak Now states that the school’s original purpose was to train Communist activists on how to promote textile strikes hold protest marches, picket lines and learn “socialist songs.” The Textile Workers Union was completely controlled by the Communist Party. Speak Now on page 529 reads: “FBI surveillance of the Highlander Folk School and the Southern Conference Educational Fund (SCEF) intensified. In 1952 Myles Horton would invest their energy and resources in the historic Southern struggle over desegregation of the public schools.”
Speak Now says that Parks attended summer training at the Highlander Folk school in 1955, 1956 and 1957. She is pictured with Martin Luther King sitting on the front row in a Highlander training class on September 2, 1957. Thus, the liberals’ story that she was just “a poor, tired black seamstress” when sitting in the front of the bus is a total lie!
On December 1, the Black Troy State College in Montgomery opened a $10 million Rosa Parks Library and monument. Attending the dedication was the state’s first Jewish Governor, Don Siegelman, who praised Parks. Coretta Scott King said that this incident launched her husband’s civil rights career and added: “By the sheer force of her will, she set in motion a revolution that continues to this day.” (Note: She could have and should have also thanked the Communist Party school which trained Parks.)
Parks is called “The mother of the civil rights movement.” Both NAACP head Kweisi Mfume, who has five children by five different women (and never married to any of them), and Jesse Jackson (who is also the father of an illegitimate child) attended. Earlier, Clinton had presented Miss Parks with the Congressional Gold Medal of Honor. An old city bus like the one Parks rode on is displayed in the museum. Children are now brought aboard the bus, where a harsh, recorded voice tells all Blacks to move to the back. This is designed to instill feelings of guilt and self-hate in White children. Was MLK really the new Gandhi, preaching a non-violent solution to race relations? Actions speak louder than words. Jesus said that you can judge men by their fruits. More whites believe the myths about MLK than do blacks. At the tenth annual convention of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, King asserted that the tactic of nonviolence “would not work” for the civil rights movement in the North. He had decided that a stronger weapon was needed to shake the urban North (Washington Evening Star, August 22, 1967). In speaking of the projected civil disobedience spring campaign of 1967, King said, “We seek to say to the nation… that if you straighten up then you’re writing your own obituary” (Ibid, Feb. 14, 1967). Even after the riots in Watts, California, this “apostle of nonviolence” preached civil disobedience incessantly. He always gave lip service to non-violence, but nullified it by constantly alluding to the violence that he felt would follow if the demands of the Negroes were not met immediately.
In February 1968, MLK predicted that unless the Congress adopted legislation providing a $10 billion-a-year program to furnish jobs or income for the urban poor, there would be riotous destruction of cities. “…To save their cities as well as their souls from going up in flames (the white majority) must persuade Congress to act now… white Americans cannot see cities die, because that is where they make their money” (Wheeling, W. Virginia New-Register, February 12, 1968).
King made the statement that he gained his ideals from his Christian background. His own writings, however, contradict that statement. In “Stride Toward Freedom,” King wrote, “almost anything, force, violence, murder, lying is a justifiable means to the ‘millennial’ end” (Congressional Record, October 4, 1967, p. H 13010, Inserted by Rep. John Ashbrook, R., Ohio). One could scarcely call such a statement indicative of devotion to Christian ideals.
MLK also became closely associated with Negro militants H. Rap Brown and Stokely Carmichael, both revolutionaries. The program of Brown and Carmichael was hate, riots, sedition and violence—a policy that King pretended to abhor. In spite of this, King met with both of them to plan for the march on Washington scheduled for April 1968.
Julia Brown, who worked for the FBI for nine years in the Communist Party in Cleveland, Ohio, made the following statements:
“I believe that Mr. King was one of the worst enemies my people ever had… his name is used by his comrades to promote anti-American activities.
I learned many surprising things while I swerved in the Communist party for the FBI. Communist leaders told us about the demonstrations that would be started and the protest marches.
We were told to promote MLK and to unite Negroes and whites behind him, and to turn him into some sort of a national hero We were to look to King as the Leader in his struggle, the Communists said, because he was on our side!
While I was in the Communist Party I learned that King attended a Communist training school… that several of his aids… were Communists, and that he received funds from Communists and was taking directions from Communists.” (From a pamphlet, Please Don’t Help Glorify Martin Luther King, by Res. Julia Brown, undated)
It is obvious to me that MLK Day is not Christian, nor is it worthy of any kind of remembrance or observance.
